Itinerary


A perfect ATV experience with gravel roads, mountains tracks, rocky trails and steep ascent. Even though the drive is a bit technical it is suitable for beginners. You start your quad bike journey at the base camp where you receive instruction on how to drive the quad bikes. Overalls are provided at the site. You will head along the Hafrafell lake up the mountain trail to the top of Hafrafell, where you will have a great view over Reykjavík area and the surrounding mountain rage. Next you will continue to Úlfarsfell mountain to get the best view of Reykjavík, the bay area and Reykjanes Peninsula. If the weather conditions allow, you will even see the majestic Snæfellsjökull glacier, which is hundreds of kilometres away. This is a tour that combines action and scenic views.

Driver’s license: Please note that you need a valid driver’s license to operate an ATV. Children and youth can share an ATV with their parent or guardian but are not allowed to operate the ATV.
