Day 1. Arrival
Airport transfer is not included, but we are happy to help you arrange shared or private transfers.

Day 2. Ţingvellir National Park - Geysir - Gullfoss waterfall
Your winter tour starts with three of Iceland's most iconic sites, known as the classic 'Golden Circle':
• Your first stop is the
Northern Lights Centre in Reykjavík – a information centre where you can learn all about the amazing natural phenomenon that is the Northern Lights, and get excited about the forthcoming hunt for them
• Next you head to
Ţingvellir National Park – a site of incredible geological, cultural and historical interest, both as the site of the world's first parliament and as the meeting point of two tectonic plates
• The next stop is
Geysir – an otherworldly geothermal landscape of boiling pools, hot springs, and the geyser
Strokkur, which erupts into the air every few minutes
• Then it's on to
Gullfoss – one of the most magnificent waterfalls in Iceland
Dinner and overnight stay in the South Iceland

Day 3. The South Shore of Iceland
Along the way you'll enjoy the lovely south coast, with its varied scenery and fantastic views. The highlights include:
• The new
Lava Centre, an interactive, high-tech educational exhibition depicting volcanic activity, earthquakes and the creation of Iceland over millions of years. Enjoy both the exhibit and viewing an interesting film about Icelandic volcanoes at the center's cinema.

Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss – two impressive waterfalls set in beautiful surroundings
•
Reynisfjara Beach – with its dramatic rock formations
•
Eldhraun, a vast lava field created from a very destructive 18th-century eruption

Day 4. Vatnajökull National Park - Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon
The focus today is on two jewels of Icelandic nature, where you can experience the stunning and varied character of the Icelandic landscape:

Vatnajökull National Park - which covers almost 14% of Iceland
•
Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon – where sublime icebergs float in the freezing blue waters and seals are known to visit
• The
Diamond Beach - where shrinking icebergs settle on the black sands before they drift out to sea
•
Skaftafell National Park – one of the most breath-taking areas of Iceland, overlooked by the largest glacier in Europe, Vatnajökull
Dinner and overnight stay in Kirkjubćjarklaustur area

Day 5. Hveragerđi - Blue Lagoon - Reykjavík
Time to drive back the South Coast and end the tour at the world famous Blue Lagoon.
• Your journey leads you through the geothermal village of
Hveragerđi – famous for its surprising geothermal activity and the many greenhouses that are heated by local hot springs. Hveragerdi is often called “The Flower Village” because of its many flower greenhouses heated by hot water from nearby springs.
• You will visit a horse farm to meet some locals:
Icelandic horses.
• Then it's on to the
Reykjanes Peninsula, home to the world-famous
Blue Lagoon – set in a lava landscape where the miraculous, mineral-rich waters offer the chance to relax and re-energise after your incredible journey through the Icelandic landscape
• The day ends with the journey back to Reykjavík where the city's many attractions await.

Day 6. Departure
Today you will depart back home. Airport transfer is not included, but we are happy to help you arrange shared or private transfers.
