Day 1. Arrival - Reykjavík City
As you arrive at the airport, our driver will meet you and drive you to your accommodation in Reykjavík. Enjoy the rest of your day in the city. Reykjavík offers great variety of memorable things to do.

Day 2. National Park - geysers - Waterfalls and Black beaches
Your personal guide will pick you up in the morning and you will head out in your adventure in a comfortable vehicle. Your first stop will be Þingvellir National Park, where the Mid-Atlantic Ridge forms an impressive rift valley causing Iceland to drift apart at the rate of 2 cm per year. Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is where the Icelandic Parliament was established in 930. Þingvellir is hauntingly beautiful despite its rugged lunar-like landscapes. Then you will head to the Geysir geothermal area, which is filled with geysers and hot springs. One of the geysers spouts boiling hot water 15 to 20 meters in the air every 8 minutes or so in a majestic display you won't want to miss. After exploring the geothermal area you will continue on to Gullfoss, which is also known as the Golden Waterfalls – it truly is one of the most impressive and magnificent waterfalls in Iceland. During sunny days the mist from the waterfall creates unique rainbows giving the waterfall a beautiful crown. Make sure you have your cameras ready. Next you will head down to the South Coast of Iceland. This is a very scenic drive, so you are lucky not to be driving – you can simply enjoy the beautiful landscape with mountains and glacier. Several stops will be on the way: Kerið volcano crater and two breathtaking waterfalls – Skógafoss and Seljalandsfos. A rare opportunity to walk behind the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall is something you won't want to miss. Then you will head to area of Vík for overnight stay.

Day 3. Skaftafell National Park - Glacial Lagoon
You will start your day by visiting Reynisfjara black lava beach and Dyrhólaey Nature Reserve, where in the summer, large number of puffins nest. After that you will continue on to a quiet town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, which is known for it´s rich history and the waterfall Systrafoss. Some indications point to the conclusion that Irish monks settled in Kirkjubæjarklaustur before the Norse settlers, but whatever the case, this was always a Christian community where heathens were not welcome. Next you will continue on to Vatnajökull, the largest Glacier in Europe, and Skaftafell National Park. Perfect place for short and easy hikes. Your guide can show you some of the most known sites of the national park, such as Svartifoss waterfall. After a visiting the national park, you continue along the roots of the Vatnajökull glacier and soon you will reach Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, where you will see icebergs the size of houses slowly drifting towards the sea. After the lagoon you will head towards the town of Höfn.

Day 4. East Fjords and Lake Mývatn
Before you reach first stop of the day – Egilsstaðir town, you will experience the stunning scenery of the East Fjords. Once again you can feel lucky that you don´t need to drive and you can simply enjoy the unique scenery. From Egilsstaðir town you will continue to Lake Mývatn area, a place filled with natural wonders and a true paradise for the nature lover with its diverse geologic formations, volcanoes, mysterious lava formations, and mud pools. You will circle that lake and have a great time enjoying the rich birdlife and luch vegetation. A relaxing bath in Mývatn Nature baths is optional.

Day 5. Akureyri City - Capital of the North
A relatively short driving day, so you will continue exploring the unique Lake Mývatn area before heading to Akureyri – the second largest city in Iceland. On the way you will stop at the stunning waterfall Goðafoss (which means „waterfall of the gods“). In the year 1,000, all Icelanders converted to Christianity and the story goes that a so-called law speaker named Þorkell disposed of the pagan gods by throwing them into this waterfall giving it its name. You will also visit the Skagafjörður fjord, which is famous for it´s horse breeding and a great place to explore on horseback. Horse riding tour is optional.

Day 6. Wonders of the West
Today your fist stop will be Deildartunguhver Hot Spring, which yields over 180 litres og boiling water every second. Then, you will continue inland to see the Hraunfossar and Barnafossar Waterfalls where the water creeps from underneath the lave fields into the Hvítá River. After the waterfalls, you will visit Borgarnes town and continue back to Reykjavík after an unforgettable trip around Iceland.

Day 7. Departure
Our driver will drive you from your accommodation in Reykjavík to the airport. If you have an afternoon or evening flight, you might want to visit the world famous Blue Lagoon and have a relaxing bath before heading to the airport.
