Day 1. Arrival and Reykjavík City
As you arrive at the airport, our driver will meet you and drive you to your accommodation in Reykjavík. Enjoy the rest of your day in the city. Reykjavík offers great variety of memorable things to do.

Day 2. Þingvellir National Park - Geysers - The Golden Waterfall
Your guide will pick you up and you will head out for a roadtrip adventure. Today you will visit the famous route known as the Golden Circle, where you will find some of most precious gems of Iceland. First on the agenda is a visit to the Thingvellir National Park. Thingvellir is a place of great importance from a geological and historical perspective, as well as a park of exceptional natural beauty. After the national park you will continue to the Geysir geothermal area. The area hosts dozens of geysers and hot springs, the most powerful of which (Strokkur) erupts every 8 minutes or so with such force that the boiling hot water jets 15 to 20 meters into the air. The next stop will be Gullfoss, also known as the Golden waterfall, which is one of the most majestic waterfalls in Iceland. When the weather is sunny, the mist layers many rainbows on top of one-another, giving Gullfoss a beautiful crown. Before you head to your lodging for the night, you will also stop at Kerið – impressive volcanic crater and the town of Selfoss.

Day 3. Waterfalls - Black Beaches and a National Park
After the breakfast you will continue your private guided tour along Iceland´s beautiful south shore. The first stop will be Seljalandsfoss waterfall - for an exciting new perspective, take a walk behind the waterfall to see the water crash over the cliff’s edge above. A little further you will visit the powerful Skógafoss waterfall that plunges 60 meters, creating quite a splash. After the waterfalls your guide will take you to Reynisfjara black beach, where huge basalt columns seem to rise from the ocean bed in magnificent formations, and the Dyrhólaey Nature Reserve. You will stop at the charming town of Vík, where you can have a lunch and shop Iceland´s famous woollen products and continue then to Skaftafell National Park. This park, which is situated at the roots of Europe’s largest glacier - Vatnajökull, is a natural paradise and a national treasure. The Svartifoss waterfall, with its dark lava columns and mesmerizing appeal, awaits your discovery in the lush area of Skaftafell.

Day 4. Skaftafell - The Glacier Lagoon and Höfn Town
There is not much driving today, therefore you will spend half the day continuing to explore Skaftafell National Park. Your guide will advise you for the most interesting spots in the park. Joining aa glacier hike is optional. After unforgettable stay in Skaftafell you will continue driving along the roots of Vatnajökull glacier to the breathtaking Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Here, massive ice blocks float in the lagoon and drift lazily towards the ocean. Short boat trips on the lagoon are operated for those eager for a closer scenic view. After a stop at the glacier lagoon, your guide will take you to the town of Höfn.

Day 5. The Eastern Fjords and the Wonders of Lake Mývatn
From Höfn you will continue your journey through the tranquil Eastern Fjords. As you don´t have to worry about driving, you can relax and enjoy the scenic views. After threading the fjords, you will proceed to the town of Egilsstaðir where you can take a short break and visit a local bakery for example. From Egilsstaðir you will continue to the stunning Lake Mývatn area and enjoy it´s stunning landscapes for the rest of the day. Bathing at Mývatn nature baths in evening or afternoon is optional.

Day 6. A National Park - Dettifoss Waterfall - Ásbyrgi Canyon - Whale Watching Capital
You will start the day by continuing your explorations of the Lake Mývatn area. Next, you will visit the Jökulsárgljúfur National Park where you will witness the raw force of the most powerful waterfall in Europe, Dettifoss waterfall. Standing near the waterfall, you can’t help but feel humbled by the devastating power nature can produce. From Dettifoss you will continue to the bizzare Hljóðaklettar rock formations and to the horseshoe-shaped Ásbyrgi canyon. The canyon was created by catastrophic floods caused by a glacial burst from the Vatnajökull Glacier thousands of years ago. After exploring the amazing monuments of nature your guide will take you to the whale watching capital of the world – town of Húsavík. Whale watching tour in Húsavík is optional.

Day 7. Akureyri City, The Capital of the North
Today you will visit the second largest city in Iceland, Akureyri. Before reaching Akureyri, you will come upon the Goðafoss waterfall, known as “waterfall of the gods.” Akureyri has plenty to offer visitors, and everyone should find something to their liking. After you guide has shown you some of most interesting places in Akureyri you will head out to the country side once again. You´ll visit Skagafjörður fjord which is known for it´s agricultural prosperity and horse breeding.

Day 8. Northwest Iceland - Charming Stykkishólmur Town
Your guide will take you on a leisurely drive through the Northwest region of Iceland. Horse riding tour is optional in this area. You might stop at village of Hvammstangi and take a walk down the shore to see if you can spot any seals – they are frequent guests here, depending on the time of the year. You will then continue to the town of Stykkishólmur, a charming ocean side town with relaxing atmosphere.

Day 9. Stunning Scenery of Snæfellsjökull National Park
Today your guide will help you to explore the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the many small fishing villages situated around the peninsula. Stunning rock formations, mountains, lava fields, and the spectacular Snæfellsjokull glacier that towers over the tip of Snæfellsnes peninsula are among the things you will see. The peninsula is sometimes referred to as “Iceland in miniature” because it offers so many of the things found all over Iceland. The Snæfellsjokull glacier is the main attraction in the Snæfellsnes National Park. It is said that the glacier has mysterious powers, and that people are drawn to the glacier by these powers. From the Snæfellsnes peninsula you will head back to Reykjavik.

Day 10. Back Home
On your last day in Iceland our driver will drive you from your accommodation to the airport. If you have an afternoon or evening flight, a visit to Blue Lagoon for a relaxing bath is optional.
