Day 1. Arrival and Reykjavík City
Following your arrival, our driver will meet you at the airport and drive you to your accommodation in Reykjavík. Enjoy the rest of the day in Reykjavík. Consult your driver for the variety if things to do and see in the capital of Iceland.

Day 2. Þingvellir National Park - Geysers - The Golden Waterfall
In the morning you will be picked up by your guide and the adventure can start. First stop will be the Þingvellir National Park, a place accepted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. Þingvellir National Park is a historic site as the Icelandic parliament was established here in 930. Þingvellir is also hauntingly beautiful despite its rugged lunar-like landscapes on the spot where two continental plates meet creating a fascinating rift valley. From Þingvellir you will continue to the Geyser geothermal area, where you will have chance to explore the geysers and hot springs. One of the geysers sprouts boiling hot water 15-20 meters in the air every 8 minutes or so in a majestic display so make sure you stick around for the show. A short distance from Geysir you will find Gullfoss, also known as The Golden Waterfall, which is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Iceland. As you will be heading down for South Coast after your visit to Gullfoss, you will also have a stop at Kerið volcano crater. A beautiful crater with a pond at the bottom of it. After all the sightseeing you will head to Hella area for an overnight stay.

Day 3. The Scenic South and Lakagígar
The South Shore of Iceland is simply astonishing drive with stunning scenery, you will feel lucky that you don´t need to drive and you can just relax and enjoy the views. You will stop at two amazing waterfalls – Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. During the summer months it is possible to walk behind the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. As you will be heading to town of Vík, on the way you will stop at Reynisfjara black beach and Dyrhólaey Nature Reserve. Onwards over the floodplains of Mýrdalssandur you will head to the highland track leading to the spectacular Lakagígar Craters, named after Mt. Laki, and located in an eruption fissure that is 25 kilometres long. The craters were formed in an eruption lasting five months and issuing the greatest volume of lava and volcanic material ever in a single eruption; it took place in 1783 and is known to be amongst the most catastrophic volcanic events in human history. The road to Laki is rough terrain mountain road, however the rewarding scenery at the end makes up for the bumpy ride. Here are few wild and rugged natural wonders that equal the beauty of the Laki area. The enormous lava field is now covered with green moss, but the volcanic debris and colourful craters provide the Laki area with a grim, natural beauty.

Day 4. Skaftafell and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon
Today you will continue your journey by the roots of Vatnajökull glacier, the largest glacier in Europe, to the tranquil paradise – Skaftafell National Park. Skaftafell contains numerous breathtaking hiking trails and your guide will advise you about the most interesting things to see here, such as the elegant Svartifoss waterfall. After the exploration of the National Park you will continue east to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, here gigantic icebergs the size of houses float around and slowly drift towards the sea. After the amazing glacial lagoon you will head back to Kirkjubæjarklaustur area for an overnight stay.

Day 5. Landmannalaugar Highland Adventure
Your experienced driver guide will take you yet again onto mountain trails to Landmannalaugar. The Fjallabak route is one of the most scenic highland roads in Iceland. After the stop at Ófærufoss Waterfall you will then continue to the colourful settings of Landmannalaugar The magnificent scenery in Landmannlaugar is a mixture of the colourful Rhyolite mountains, black lava fields, yellow and green moss, and hot springs. One of Iceland’s most famous natural pools is located in Landmannalaugar, ideal for a relaxing bath after hiking and exploring this highland pearl. The area is an absolute paradise for hikers and nature lovers. Heading back from Landmannalaugar you will pass lake Frostastaðavatn, nesting under colorful mountain hills and craters. A pit stop by Landmannahellir Cave before continuing on this scenic desolate route back to your accommodation at Hella.

Day 6. Reykjanes Peninsula and the Blue Lagoon
Today you will have a trip to the lunar-like landscapes of Reykjanes peninsula. You will visit the mysterious Lake Kleifarvatn as well as the Krýsuvík Geothermal area, where you will see the raw power of the Mother Earth. After a short exploration of Grindavík town you will head to the world famous Blue Lagoon. Here you can enjoy a relaxing bath in the mineral rich waters; it's a great place to collect your thoughts after days of exploring Iceland.

Day 7. Departure
Our driver will drive you from Reykjavík to the airport. In case you have an afternoon or evening flight, you still have time to do some shopping or catch any of Reykjavík sites that you might have missed.
